docuPOWER is a configurable, generic document management product developed by Cybertron Limited.

The product allows scanned paper documents and all forms of electronic documents to be captured, indexed, stored and retrieved.

Other features include:

• Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
• Fax of captured documents.
• Data import of indexing data from existing databases.
• E-Mail of documents.
• Free-text retrieval of captured documents.
• Automatic document indexing of scanned documents via OCR of configured fields.
  

The system includes many optional links to external devices including:

• A range of document scanners.
• A range of storage devices including optical WORM drives and jukeboxes.
• Standard windows printers and accelerated document printers.
• Fax modems.

The docuPOWER system is fully scalable and may be configured as a standalone, single user workstation or as a networked multi-user system using any industry standard network environment.

docuPOWER is a generic product that is highly configurable and may be tailored to the specific needs of different customers and users. Screen layouts, document indexing fields and user options may all be tailored to suit individual business requirements and processes.

The docuPOWER system was developed by Cybertron in Gupta SQL Windows and Microsoft Visual C, and uses a Gupta SQLBase database.

docuPOWER was sold to Merit Computer Solutions Limited for further development and marketing.
